Presentation Abstract: Entity Framework is Microsoft’s latest addition to the ADO.NET data access suite. Visual Studio 2010 will be shipping with Entity Framework 4.0 and the framework has been enhanced to support features such as model first development and improved testability with support for plain old CLR objects(POCO). In this presentation we will cover the fundamental features of Entity Framework that have been available since the initial 3.5 release as well as diving into some of the new features available in EF 4.0. We will be using Visual Studio 2010 Beta 1 to demonstrate framework capabilities. About the Presenter: Jeff Roy is a .NET Developer with MassMutual working on annuity administration systems.
