Hi Fern, The easiest way to play YouTube and other web video formats off line is to add a video downloader plug-in for Firefox. Simply search "video downloader" from the Ad-Ons link under Tools in the Firefox browser. I believe the new RealPlayer offers that as well in a stand alone player. http://www.real.com/realplayer/download-online-video Mark Firehammer 413 303 0315 SkypeID: Compatikey Website: http://techeffective.net -----Original Message----- From: hidden-discuss-bounces at lists.hidden-tech.net [mailto:hidden-discuss-bounces at lists.hidden-tech.net] On Behalf Of fern Sent: Sunday, November 15, 2009 2:18 PM To: Hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net Subject: [Hidden-tech] Off line Youtube ** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. ** If you did, we all thank you. Does anyone know how to play a youtube video offline? I need to show a clip from a Youtube video where there is not internet access. Can it be embedded into a powerpoint or would I need some kind of browser?
