    RTC Leadership Series Event
"Financing Alternatives in These Difficult Times...
Yes, There is Money to be Had"

    Monday, November 2, 2009, 5 to 7 p.m.
TD Bank Conference Center 1441 Main St Springfield, MA 01103

We are pleased to add an additional speaker to our Leadership Event
    sponsored by GesmerUpdegrove.

We will have Mr. Robert H. Nelson, Massachusetts District Director of
the US Small Business Administration, to present an update on
President Obama's announcements about increased SBA loan size limits
which could have an effect on the RTC member companies.

The first in the RTC's new Leadership Series, "Financing Alternatives
in These Difficult Times...Yes, There is Money to be Had" features a
panel of venture capital experts, including the National Venture
Director of Ernst & Young. Moderated by Steve Snyder, Partner &
Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Gesmer Updegrove, this panel of four
venture capital professionals from the Boston area is an opportunity
for entrepreneurs from both startups and expansion stage companies to
hear important perspectives on the venture capital industry. The
venture capital industry has undergone extensive changes over the last
few years and more changes to the industry are to come--with resultant
impacts on entrepreneurial and growing ventures. Industry observers
have raised questions about whether the venture capital model is
"broken" and about how much start-up and expansion capital will be
available in years to come. Whether you're a high tech startup or a
more mature business looking for equity capital to augment debt in an
expansion phase--or even a supplier into a growth industry--this panel
will provide some important perspectives on your economic future. Come
prepared for a discussion about these issues and how they effect New
England, the Pioneer Valley, and your business.
Featuring: Oscar Jazdowski, VP Sales - Silicon Valley Bank, Bryan
