Have not used one, I looked at several of the mini/low power boxes last year but decided to stick with a 40 watt box I had gathering dust for this year. Chumby looks useful, though a bit thin on RAM and needing a flash drive. I wonder why we don't yet have a cell-phone sized mini that includes a microphone and speaker, for those that don't like paying $70 monthly contract for an IPhone on campus. There must be a hardware vendor out there that would like to capture a $200 retail price point for a Skype gadget. Thoughts? We are using one now for monitoring our servers. I'd be interested in collaborating with an improved tools for monitoring, other ideas welcome also. -- Rich Roth CEO On-the-net Bringing you complex online systems since the net was young http://www.tnrglobal.com - http://www.on-the-net.com/rr/ _______________________________________________ Hidden-discuss mailing list - home page: http://www.hidden-tech.net Hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net You are receiving this because you are on the Hidden-Tech Discussion list.
