Hi Tom, Rich & HT, Among the other benefits of joining the Amherst Chamber of Commerce (or maybe any Chamber of Commerce) is access to their group to buy health insurance from many major carriers: Tufts, Harvard Pilgrim, Blue Cross Blue Shield, etc. Also, the state has a program for small businesses called the Insurance Partnership which may subsidize health insurance somewhat: http://www.insurancepartnership.org/index-html.asp I have a spreadsheet that helps evaluate plans for families into which one can plug several assumptions. If you email me off list, I'd be happy to send it to you.
