A friend of mine in Québec has written me asking for referrals for an
editor. She has written two novels, approximately 75,000 words and 56,000
words respectively, initially in French and then re-written in English. She
is interested in having someone edit the English versions for grammar,
tense, phrasing, etc., with a goal of publishing them in the US. She is
looking for both referrals and for a sense of appropriate costs for such
work (per word or per hour, however it is done).
