[Hidden-tech] seeking Joomla quotes

Ok, I had a forum made in Vanilla, which I was really happy with, but now
the project has gone in a new direction. It now required more extensive
functionality. Vanilla has a lot of add-ons, but generally they are not
robust.

1. Since Joomla, is a big jump for me, please let me know of pros/cons of
Joomla. This seems like it was brought up recently. If so, feel free to
email me directly.

2. I would also like to chat with an experienced Joomla programmer that has
made Joomla sites with multiple add-ons.

My goal is to have a Joomla website that has:

A. An online forum, but not overly complicated for the user.
B. Can manage free forum memberships.
C. An add-on for billing paid forum memberships, including recurring billing
and reminders.
D. Creates a database of users that can be downloaded, or ideally can be
exported or synced with SalesForce.com or ESP.
E. Can manage a variety of paid listings and advertising.
F. Can create an online directory.
G. Other functions might be needed later. Need to discuss.

All the best,
