Bob, thanks for the suggestion (did you mean quicktimePro?). I'm not able to even try that because I'd need to open the file with QTPro but the file is actually a simple dvd label making utility file .., so QTPro doesn't recognize it...which is why I needed to "screen-grab it" ...to send to the printer for a mockup version... FYI: but I did find a few freeware apps on versiontracker.com...of which "capture me" seems to offer the best options. in the end, it worked out fine...because I was able to save the grab as a 1900x1200 png file and it looked just fine for the printer. -tom On Fri, Jan 23, 2009 at 3:11 PM, Bob O'Haver <bob at ohaver.net> wrote: > Did you try to make a single frame for quicktime HD? > > it might work. > Bob > On Jan 23, 2009, at 2:02 PM, Tom / Reelife Productions wrote: > >> ** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. >> ** If you did, we all thank you. >> >> Hello, >> >> can anyone suggest a (free?) high resolution screen resolution app >> (for the mac).
