[Hidden-tech] Need Easy Image Editing Software Recommendation

Does anyone else find Picassa has a hard time when you are importing a lot of SD card (camera) photos and then trying to organize/move them around etc...  Our's freezes up when trying to delete a group of photos, and also doesn't always acknowledge that new files have been added to a watch folder.
