Hi Jaime -

I assume you meant video editing because you referenced Final Cut.  For the
PC, in the price range you indicated, your friend might want to try Adobe
Premiere Elements v8.  It's around $100 although I think it is on sale
now...  Plus, you can try it before you buy it (for 30 days) from the Adobe
web site.  Enjoy.

Hi H-T,

I need some advice for a good friend - what is the best editing  
software for PC's at the consumer/prosumer level. My world is entirely  
Apple/Final Cut so I'd really appreciate some help on what's good and  
not too expensive ($100- $300) and a good place to buy it.
