[Hidden-tech] phpBB3 set up help

Hi Kevin,

The SMF forum software looks fine, though a competing site to the one
I'm building
has been down for months due to a problem they are having with the software. It
could just be their own issue and a lack of energy to deal with it.
I've just read good
reviews about phpBB.

I should probably clarify my original request. I'm trying to set up a
forum using phpBB3.
In particular, I need to modify a style so that I have an empty right
hand column so that
I can put my advertising stuff in it (eg. newsletter sign-up form,
small banners, Google ads,
and so on).

Nearly all of the styles out there take up the full width of the
page, which is really
surprising to me. Doesn't anyone with a forum use their site in a
typical site way?
It's not just about the discussion forums. It's also about marketing
and promotion.

In any case, I have picked my style, which is called Rengahenk and is listed on
www.awesomestyles.com. I now need help to add the right hand column, install
my header graphic and adjust the color scheme a bit by updating the
css. I'm not
looking for free help. I'm happy to pay someone who already knows how to do
this kind of thing.

Thanks,
Stefan
