[Hidden-tech] Teaching and Learning in Virtual Worlds class at Marlboro College Graduate School

The Marlboro College Graduate School has opened enrollment in its  
Second Life course on a stand-alone basis for the Spring 2009 trimester.
Teaching and Learning in Virtual Worlds is for trainers and educators  
seeking direction on utilizing online technology like Second Life to  
reach learning goals. Participants will explore a variety of 2D and 3D  
virtual worlds that target children and adults, including some  
designed for young children.  The course will be led by Jane Wilde,  
adjunct professor in the Master of Arts Teaching with Technology (MAT)  
program and meets completely online using a combination of the  
learning management system Moodle and the virtual world platform,  
Second Life.
