A few years back Nikon sold a 35mm negative scanner. It was about $250 -
$300.

Is there a local store/service that digitizes old photos - negatives?

I've been using ScanCafe - a service where you mail photos-negatives,  
and it takes forever. I think that they actually ship the photos- 
negatives to India for scanning.

Who would you recommend locally?
