Can anyone suggest a program that is easy to use but has a few more bells and whistles for Mac? umm, Keynote? The name derives from Steve Job's Keynote addresses at MacWorld and other places. It was developed for him, to his specs and demands, before it was ever released to the public. Of course, there is more to a presentation that the software, but you know that already. It's just that if the software is lousy, it doesn't help. I've never seen anyone do anything much creative with PowerPoint. Screen's full of bulleted lists with big titles and maybe a graphic or a background. Dozens of them. Yuck. Presenters reading points off their slides. On the other hand, I've seen some really creative presentations with Keynote that actually illustrate, augment and supplement the words of the person doing the presentation. http://safari.oreilly.com/0321246616/ch06lev1sec1 -- --------------- Chris Hoogendyk - O__ ---- Systems Administrator c/ /'_ --- Biology & Geology Departments (*) \(*) -- 140 Morrill Science Center ~~~~~~~~~~ - University of Massachusetts, Amherst <hoogendyk at bio.umass.edu> --------------- Erdös 4
