Thanks for all the feedback about Google Calendar. The problem I have run into while testing Google Calendar is in sharing calendars with other users. In my test setup using two Macintosh computers, this worked initially but after "unsharing" with a user and then "sharing" a calendar with that user again, the sharing feature did not seem to work. Nothing I tried was able to give that user access a second time. I have not tried going cross-platform or PC-PC instead of Mac-Mac but I will try both scenarios to see if I get the same results. the sysmptoms seem to suggest a firewall issue of some sort but if that is what is going on I don't understand why the sharing did work at first but later frefused to work.
