Have you checked your MSI Wind with a Kill-A-Watt?

I'm contemplating a low power server for website monitoring and backups. 
I have a Sempron/Linux desktop box that runs 50 watts idle; if I can 
figure out how to set the box into ACPI standby state and wake it with 
an RTC alarm, that will suffice for hourly site monitoring at a few 
watt-hours per hour.  My old HP laptop idles at 20 watts and on standby 
Kill-A-Watt reads zero; and I suspect the laptop BIOS is much more 
likely to automatically configure Linux ACPI stuff, but I'm still using 
that for mobile windows at the moment.

I'm tempted to buy one of the under 5-watt mini boxes like the Fit PC, 
but it'd take a lot of years at 15 watts / hour to cover the cost 
difference; I'd get lots better watt-saving bang for the buck buying a 
few dozen compact fluorescents and giving them to strangers  (:
