[Hidden-tech] transferring a file/folder from a win 98 PC to an XP PC

a) yank the hard drive and stick it into another PC or attach it to 
one of those handy IDE/SATA->usb widgets (assuming the drive is at least IDE)
or
b) use kermit. This is a little more involved, but it is the classic 
method of last resort.
