Most of the major manufacturers (PC and Apple) will accept their
machines back free of charge. Some will accept your old computer even
if it's not theirs when you purchase a new one. Go to the
manufacturer's web site (i.e. HP, Dell, Apple) and look for 'recycle'
and they will supply a shipping number. All you have to do is box it
up and call the delivery company.
