Thanks to those who responded. To clarify... The product is currently distributed on CD-ROM. They want it to be able to play on a regular DVD player so it will include things like chapter breaks. We have had performance trouble in the past with trying to capture when there is already video (FLV's) in what we are trying to capture. Have you had any success with that? Do we just need to try a more powerful system? I will look into iShowU. Does it play in a linear fashion or does the user have to control it? You might want to consider using a screen cap program. There is one for the Mac called iShowU that has great quality.
