[Hidden-tech] Using iMovie to convert miniDV to DVD

Andrew, if your colleagues are planning on editing, I wouldn't put the files
on DVD, because if it's a playable DVD, they'll have to rip it to use the
footage, and if you put the movie on as video data files, then you won't be
able to fit it on DVD's.  I'd reccomend putting the 4 hrs of footage on
external hard drive, if you don't want to store it on your Macbook hard
drive.  I'm pretty sure there's a simple way in iMovie to record the whole
tape.  Like Rikk said, expect to use about 12 to 14 GB per hour of video.
