[Hidden-tech] Google Groups v. Yahoo Groups

The (recent?) glitch with Yahoo Groups is that you
HAVE to have a YahooID to use all the features of the
groups  (i.e. login to the site and access the group
databases, message archive etc...).  You CAN still get
the messages with another email address at least.

Not sure if Google Groups works the same way.
