[Hidden-tech] Advice needed re: buying a mac

Unless she must have a laptop, you might also consider a mini if you  
have a keyboard and monitor; I got one as a bridge between my old  
desktop and a newer model. Also check apple's own website; they  
frequently have refurbished machines (so they have a warranty).
