Thanks to those that gave input... I ended up using McDonald's wireless access. I got connected (it only costs $2.95 per 2 hours), but it was very slow. And from McDonald's, it did pick up a wireless network at Stop&Shop across the street, which was unencrypted and available, but the signal was not that strong from over at McDonald's.
