Good morning, Hidden-Techies and Happy New Year! As many of you are aware, I support a local Catholic grammar school. We have decided to move ahead with the University of Richmond and Boston University programs of computer technology, which comes hand in hand with education and train-the-trainer elements for teachers. Bottom line, we'll move our core subjects up a notch or two using these programs to supplement all we're doing already. Parents will also be able to view students' portfolios on-line. Students will learn graphs, Microsoft Publisher, create timelines, and much more. Does anyone in our Hidden-Tech world have any ideas for funding, outright grants, match programs, vendor-based grants, etc? This is a 3-year commitment that will run $40k. Our year one funding need is $8k after what our budget will provide. I would appreciate any help and direction. Thank you.
