Did you switch?

I've done a bunch of these and got the offer every time. They won't offer it to you unless you tell them point blank that you're doing a domain transfer to another registrar and you need an authorization code. Give them your domain and registration information and tell them to start the process. Only then will they offer you the deal.

You can't just call and ask for it.
