Hey folks..hope you're enjoying the holiday season. I have two events to tell you about. One is our Hidden Tech January social, coming right up on January 12th at the Yellow Sofa. I will include some details on that below. The second is an event a colleague of mine is hosting in Boston on January 7th on IT Project Failures in Town Hall format. Both events are free, more details on this event below as well, or you can see a link for that one: http://blogs.zdnet.com/projectfailures/?p=1179 Both events are free of charge. So, for our January 12th event, following is a draft of the event info that we are still refining for an official mailing, but I wanted to make sure those who are interested in coming can mark their calendars: "With Kwanzhanukamass behind us and the long wait for Spring ahead of us, get thee to a cozy, HT socializing event on January 12th. Join your fellow Hidden Techies at the Yellow Sofa Cafe and Card shop in Downtown Northampton, where you can sip and schmooze and browse the enormous collection of cards. It's the perfect place for an HT life with WiFi, strong coffee, tasty treats and no obligation networking. Hidden Tech socials are always, well... social. Number 413-5 85-5877 Refreshments: Coffee Tea and Yummies as well as thousands of clever cards are available for purchase Cost: none, by special arranagement with the Yellow Sofa (but bring money for refreshments (and cards if you want) from the Yellow Sofa" --- OK, so for the details on the free IT Failures Town Hall Event in Boston on January 7th: This event is being hosted by a colleague of mine, Michael Krigsman, who does a blog on ZDnet that I find to be very useful. Michael mostly writes about IT on the enterprise level, but if that's your market space, I find him to be a relevant voice. CRM author and blogger Paul Greenberg will be hosting this interactive, discussion-based event. Although this event is also free, registration is required. This link will get you more details on the event and also to a link to the registration page: http://blogs.zdnet.com/projectfailures/?p=1179 Hope your holiday season is going well whether you are with loved ones or not....I look forward to seeing you at the January event.
