No kidding. I had a computer blow up on me once. I can think of many reasons how something like this could happen that would not be the company's responsibility, and vice versa. But since you're the one with the honest and friendly lawyer, lets consider that the company responded as best they could , and you have no real damages to recover from other than the cost of the unit, which they are taking care of. That's great. So what are you going to sue for? IF you sustained significant damages, it might be worth looking into seeing if the company took careless or dangerous shortcuts in the manufacture and release of an unsafe product. If this did turn out to be the case they should pay recalls, fines, damages people who sustained losses - but why should you profit? Is it the emotional damage? DAVID F.
