Thanks Tom, but I need to convert digibeta to DVD ultimately. Digibeta is: a high-end tape format, as I understand it (http://www.mediacollege.com/video/format/beta/digital-betacam.html). The drives to read the tapes are usually over $15,000 ( http://cgi.ebay.com/Sony-DVW-A500-Digibeta-Recorder-Player-LOW-HOURS_W0QQite mZ180234877807QQihZ008QQcategoryZ21168QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) -Jeff On 4/25/08 5:50 PM, "Tom Adams" <tomadams at gmail.com> wrote: > jeff, > I could convert DVD to minidv- (not sure what you mean by digibeta > drive) > > Regards, > > Tom Adams > Director/Owner, www.ReelifeProductions.com > (from iphone: 413.575.9707) > > 2008 Telly Award Winner: > "Establishing a Local Historic District" > > > On Apr 25, 2008, at 3:36 PM, Jeff Mackler <jeff at rubberneck.net> wrote: > >> ** The author of this post was a Good Dobee. >> ** You too can help the group >> ** Fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. >> ** If you did, we all thank you. >> >> >> Anyone local have a digibeta drive?
