[Hidden-tech] Transcribing jobs

Many of you may remember I sent out an email not that long ago asking 
about home based jobs for an unskilled worker (my wife).   Well we 
looked and came up with basically nothing.  So instead we are looking at 
sending her to a local community college to get a cert/formal training 
in transcribing since there *appears* to be a lot of jobs in this area 
and the pay is relatively good (and she does type well).   So I'm just 
looking for some opinions out there for anyone who has transcribing 
experience as to how active the job market really is, if there are any 
"gotchas", or any other information that would be useful to us.
