There is an immediate opening available at the Grinspoon Institute for Jewish Philanthropy. We are looking for Business Systems Analyst in our Alumni & Donor Outreach Technology Program. The goal of the Grinspoon Institute Alumni & Donor Outreach Technology Program is to help Jewish nonprofit overnight camps and other organizations utilize technology to support their fundraising activities and communications with their alumni, parents and other constituents. The Business Systems Analyst will help the camps prepare/import data into donor/gift management systems, customize software, solve problems with technology solutions, and assess camps' technology needs. More details about the position can be found here: Key Responsibilities: The Business Systems Analyst will assist the camps in implementing the program. Responsibilities in this area may include: - Assisting camps with preparing and cleaning data for import - Assisting camps with customizing screens to meet their business process needs - Assisting camps with implementing Event Registration, Online Donations, and other forms - Providing camps with best practices and other resources to help them utilize technology effectively to reach their fundraising and alumni outreach goals The Business Systems Analyst will also assist the Technology Program Manager in various program-wide activities. Responsibilities in this area may include: - Researching and analyzing new technologies including fundraising/alumni outreach tools, social networking applications, etc.; preparing reports/presentations - Administrative Tasks: Processing reimbursements, reviewing documentation, taking notes in staff meetings, etc. - Supporting User Group and eNewsletter preparation/documentation - Preparing and presenting sessions at conferences - Documenting system features - Reviewing Code Qualifications - The ideal candidate will possess: - Experience in data management and systems implementation - Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills - Organization skills; ability to maintain/communicate status on a number of ongoing projects - Experience with fundraising technology a plus - An interest and aptitude for learning about technology and applying it to solve business problems; experience with social networking technology a plus - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills - Ability to work both independently and in a team environment - Customer service experience - Programming experience preferred - B.S. in Information Technology, Data Management, or related field preferred Job Location: West Springfield, MA Position Begins: As soon as possible Salary Range: Salary commensurate with experience.
