Julie, Are you saying the web cam doesn't work on the imac? If that is the case there is a project on sourceforge that has you covered, check http://webcam-osx.sourceforge.net/ As for a system that works well in the the mac/windows/Linux environments try the http://www.gizmoproject.com/ this is an open source alternative to Sykpe. While I personally have not use it much, Brian Johnson a fellow hiddentecher and mac/Linux head, recommends it. -Mike On 10/16/07, Bob O'Haver <bob at ohaver.net> wrote: > ** The author of this post was a Good Dobee. > ** You too can help the group > ** Fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. > ** If you did, we all thank you. > > > > skype is free sightspeed is good but cost per month. > > I use Skype everyday it works great from Mac to PC > > Bob > > On Oct 15, 2007, at 2:22 PM, David Spound wrote: > > ** The author of this post was a Good Dobee. > ** You too can help the group > ** Fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. > ** If you did, we all thank you. > > > Hi Julie, > > You may need to use a cross-platform application such as Skype > (http://www.skype.com).
