THANX: [Hidden-tech] Inexpensive ISP / Hosting service recommendations?

Thanx to all of you who suggested domain hosting services.

I went with www.DreamHost.com, which got more 
'votes' than the others. It's been great and 
changing services solved the email problems I was having.

DreamHost is great. Lot's of free open source 
apps and great tech support... and a sense of 
humor! Worker owned. Zero carbon foot print (I 
think that means they wipe their feet?) It's 
probably also organic, cage free, free traded, 
and involves not animal testing (unless, like 
many, you consider web programmers animals) ...but I didn't ask.

As always thanx for your help and sharing our prodigious combined knowledge.
