Hey Jeff...I have been experimenting with a number of RSS and also
podcast readers. Putting aside the need to download stuff onto my
iPod, which pushes me towards iTunes....
my favorite RSS reader so far has been Google Reader. I'm sure there
are some good "best of breed" RSS readers out there, but I like
Google's the best of the mainstream ones - much better than yahoo.
Google seems to handle the broadest range of stuff - podcasts and RSS
text feeds, with the greatest ease of use of the ones I have tested,
though I have not been comprehensive. I like Google's RSS reader way
more than Yahoo's.
You didn't ask this part, but my favorite "best of breed" podcast RSS
reader of the ones I have tried is Juice.
