I'm sure there is. No slight intended on the Saint or anyone else for that matter. It is just that "Rocco" is a stereotyped name for a thug and that in a Mafia movie a social club named for St Rocco would verge on the satirical rather than the serious, regardless whether it was serious or not. When you name people in fiction, their names take on the weight of the culture in which they exist. Some names sound tough, some sound nerdy. When you name people and things in fiction, you can either go with the stereotype or against it. In MASH, for example, Alan Alda played Franklin Pierce which is as WASPY as Charles Emerson Winchester, III. In the first case, they gave the character a nickname and the latter, they gave the character a middle name and a "3rd." and you can picture the characters just from the names. Hawkeye Pierce is a lot more iconoclastic and Charles Emerson Winchester, III is a lot more prissy, just from the sound. Now if they called the characters Franklin Pierce and Winchester "73," you'd have a different impression, without even seeing the actor or hearing a line of dialog. (Speaking of Hawkeye, in Last of the Mohicans, in the book the character is named Natty Bumpo. The movie renamed him Nathaniel Poe, which you have to agree changed how we look at him, although at the time of the book, I'll bet Natty was more heroic.) Just trying to have some fun with words.
