Hi

I have an acquaintance at a company in greenfield who has a pc interface
to a CNC machine that is problematic and crashes a lot. I understand a
dos batch file negotiates some baud rates and all communication is done
serially. He informs me that the PC and machine are negotiating slow
(9600) communication rates which may or may not be normal. I mention the
baud rate thing as there may be other issues as to just figuring out the
programming. Anyhow they are looking for someone to write a new
application interface for this, in the hopes that it will function more
reliably. They are aware that this might not be a small quick project
(although maybe it is for the right person).
If you'd like to be put in touch with them please send me an email.
