You need codecs to play DVDs with Windows Media Player. You can get most
of what you might need at:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/plugins.aspx
You will also get them if you install a stand-alone commercial DVD
player like PowerDVD or Cineplayer.
