[Hidden-tech] Spread Sheet app?

My first thought was OpenOffice as well, it is compatible with Excel (both
opening and saving), but it has a very large footprint. Other than that
it's a great program and I have it on any machine that doesn't have a copy
of Office.

The online apps might be a bit unwieldy for having more than one open at
once though (just my impression, I haven't really spent much time with
them).

Not sure about the formats, but try OpenOffice at openoffice.org or
Google's spreadsheet. Also, you can try Zoho, a free online web-based
office suite.

Good luck,
Ron
