The main drawback of the ticketing services that I know of are that  
you don't get your money till after the event.

I'm not sure who would provide access to a merchant account for tix  
at the event.  If you don't get answers on the listserv I would try  
google as far as ticketing services, and perhaps call local box  
offices regarding box office service.  Maybe there are some that  
would provide onsite ticketing for a flat fee or percentage of sales.
