Diane, if you're comfortable with InDesign, use it. It beats the heck out of Word! To get your images from the PDF, open it in Acrobat Pro and save it as HTML. It's the "File.. Save As" command, and don't forget to choose HTML. That should create an HTML file plus a folder containing all your images. When you paste the text from Word into InDesign, you *might* want to use Edit... Paste Without Formatting. (Unless there's a lot of formatting you want to keep!)
