Jeff, It sounds as though either Word or the Browser could be to blame. ---- I'd suggest first checking the version of Word you are using on that MacBook; If it is Word [Office 2004] version 11.3, then it is up to date. If it is older The edit menu does have the paste command, as it works after your side trip to Preview. ---- Check your browser, whichever it is, to be sure it can 'copy' the way you expect. I'd suggest trying a 'Control-click' on an image, at which point you should have a contextual menu to select "Copy Image". Perhaps the browser is in part to blame for this perceived non-function? - Holleran Greenburger ================================================================== Catamount Computer TollFree 866-561-7760 / 413-625-2839 / 413-303-9046 Retail location at 56 Bridge St, Shelburne Falls, MA 01370 (Inside Charlemont TV) Honest professional advice at a reasonable price. http://www.catamount.net/ New PCs / Repairs / Upgrades / Training & Consultation Web Design / Domain Registration & Hosting / Networking Specialist help at catamount.net * Mac or PC ================================================================== >I'm using a Mac. > >I regularly need to copy logos and images from websites into a Word document. > >When I was using Windows, I could easily copy the image from a >website, and just hit paste in Word.
