> The Manager of Software Development will be responsible for the

> · Overall software architecture definition and development.
> · Day to day management of the software development team and team

> · Creation and maintenance of development budgets, resource

> Ideal candidates will possess the following background and experience:

> · BS in Computer Science or equivalent, MS preferred.
> · Proven track record of successful coding efforts and the  
> management of software development projects.
> · Experience utilizing and integrating offshore development. Strong  
> offshore contacts.
> · 8+ years experience as a software developer and / or manager of a  
> software development team in a business setting is required.
> · 3-5 years experience in Web Services and underlying  
> architectures, including complex database structures and definitions.
> · A strong grasp of emerging technologies is required.
> · Well-developed communication skills and the ability to maintain  
> positive and cooperative working relationships with internal teams  
> and customers is a must.
> · Demonstrable judgment, leadership, and communication skills.
> · Working knowledge of hardware and software technologies used  
> within application development, including server and PC platforms,  
> programming languages, database technologies, and network and  
> telecommunications protocols.
> · Must exhibit creativity and innovation in system solutions; must  
> be broadly focused and able to manage multiple efforts concurrently.
> · Core Technology Skills in: Java, Microsoft .NET, C++, HTML, XML,  
> SQL Server, Business Objects, Oracle, Windows, and Linux.
> · Intimate knowledge of coding, unit testing, code reviews,  
> continuous integration, and development cycle process management.
