I personally have never worked on a site using DreamHosted site but I
have have worked on migrating sites from them, and read about problems
on various forums. Dream host is a super huge hosting company and has
all the pro's and cons of a super huge company. 24 hour tech support,
never a reason for down time, they even support Ruby on the Rails (a
very awesome programing language and API). How ever they have strict
policies and the same problems as every one else running rails (this is
another conversation). Tech support that rally cant do more then tell
you that its your fault, and if you need something special done it out
of the question.
So to answer your question Dan I have to ask you one. What is the site
going to be used for. Is the CMS going to be memory/CPU intensive? Will
they mind some rails noob slowing down the server now and then?

that is all I can thing of to say. but that is my LIMETED experience w/
DreamHost.
