I'll second BaseCamp - it's an excellent app for project
management/tracking/communication - the best I've seen so far...

Hi Jean,

I just started working with BaseCamp and so far so good. There is a free
version which I have not tried but the "Basic" version is $24/mo and has a
decent amount of features. There is also a free 30 day trial.

I've also tried setting up a straight Wiki (using PBWiki) but Basecamp
provides a few other tools that make sharing files, project tracking and
commenting a bit easier for everyone involved.

Another free program to consider is dotProject. We used this to track
development for some of our game production, but it's not as intuitive for
the client to use.

Hope this helps,
Paul

We are investigating wikis as a way of sharing & editing information with
both internal staff and external clients & partners.

We have some experience with a product called ProjectForum. It's pretty nice
-- easy to install, easy to use, cross-platform.

Can anyone recommend other options we should look at? We looking for
something that will handle 10 - 12 groups.
