I would be a bit cautious about using a system that actually requires people to be PayPal members in order to register (depending in part on the demographics of the expected participants). For a lot of us, PayPal is just another way of doing business, but I've recently watched my father (who is in his late 60's) try to make sense of PayPal and run into all sorts of problems. I wish I had a positive solution to offer you, but the only solution I know of takes up to 90 days to implement and is really targeted at long-term use rather than a one-off event. - Bruce _____ From: hidden-discuss-bounces at lists.hidden-tech.net [mailto:hidden-discuss-bounces at lists.hidden-tech.net] On Behalf Of David Spound Sent: Friday, January 12, 2007 12:52 PM To: Hidden Tech Subject: [Hidden-tech] Online conference registration I may need to provide online registration for an educational conference that is scheduled for just 10 weeks from now (short notice!). It is expected that 300-400 people will register. I am looking for a quick - hosted? - solution that can be implemented within one week! Besides basic contact information, and online payment by credit card, I need to make it possible for people to sign up for the entire conference or just for discreet portions (a la carte). Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. David ++++++++++ David Spound, M.Ed.
