[Hidden-tech] Cabinet maker/wood shop

Hey all,

I'm building an audio loudspeaker for my testing lab and I need to
construct a wood box to hold the speaker driver. I'm wondering if
anyone here could recommend a local (Springfield) wood shop or
cabinet maker that might be able to whip up a box for me (preferably
cheap!).

I'm looking to build a 13-inch cube box using 1/2-inch MDF so it
should be really simple for a pro to handle. I'll make up detailed
drawings that show what I want.

If no one has any woodshop recommendations, I would also consider
renting time for a reasonable price (or free speaker-building
consulting) at someone's personal woodshop if they have a table saw
and router. I've used power tools to build speakers in the past, so I
won't hurt myself - I don't have access to a table saw anymore which
is why I'm looking for help. Since MDF chews up steel blades pretty
quickly, I'll buy (and leave) carbide blades/bits if the owner
doesn't already have them.

Thanks for the help

Herb
