  Wondering how to dispose - responsibly - of your old computer, monitor,
  TV, stereo, and/or home or office appliances?

  The Jackson Street School PTO will hold an Electronic Recycling
  Collection on Saturday, May 19, 2007, 9am to noon, at 120 Jackson
  Street, Northampton.

  Open to all; no registration required.

  Businesses & non-profits with many items may call ahead to 585-1074 for
  pre-9:00 a.m. appointment.

  Fees are as follows:

  * computer processor, monitor, printer, stereo or radio, office machines
  (phone, fax, photocopier), $5 each

  * television and other home appliances (stove, washer, dryer, microwave
  oven), $10 each

  * appliances w/freon (air conditioner, refrigerator, dehumidifier), $15
  each

  * computer peripherals (mouse, keyboard, cables, hard drive), $2 each

  * No charge to recycle cell phones or printer cartridges.


  99% of what is collected will be reused or recycled, courtesy of CRT
  Recycling, Brockton MA: www.crt.org.
