Hi everyone,

I sent a note back in the spring about a similar event, and some parent
volunteers in the Northampton schools are at it again. They are
organizing another electronics recycling collection, on Saturday
November 4, this time at the JFK Middle School in Florence. (There will
be a spring collection at Jackson Street School, May 19, 2007). A
paragraph they have provided for more information is below:

The JFK PTO will hold an Electronic Recycling Collection on Saturday,
November 4, 2006, 9am to noon, in the bus loop in front of the school:
100 Bridge Road, Florence. Open to all; no registration required.
Businesses & non-profits with many items may call ahead to 585-1074 for
pre-9:00 a.m. appointment. Fees are as follows: Computer, PC monitor,
printer, stereo or radio, office machines (phone, fax, photocopier), $5
each; television and other home appliances (stove, washer, dryer,
microwave oven), $10 each; appliances w/freon (air conditioner,
refrigerator, dehumidifier), $15 each; computer peripherals (mouse,
keyboard, cables, hard drive), $2 each. No charge to recycle cell phones
or printer cartridges. 99% of what is collected will be reused or
recycled, courtesy of CRT Recycling, Brockton MA: www.crt.org.

Thanks all,
