[Hidden-tech] Advice to Oct. 3 presenters coming

Hi All,

There are now 11 or so people presenting on Oct. 3 at the New Media 
Focus group, which is great. ANYONE can attend and not present, by 
the by. There's room for 75 to 100 people.

Just a reminder to presenters to keep it brief -- about 3 to 5 minute 
MAXIMUM about how your sector fits into the New Media. I will be 
presenting a quick overview on slides to back you up so don't feel 
you have to define the term.

I will be ruthless in cutting off people who go over as we need to 
MAKE A CASE about what this is. There will be plenty of time to jump 
in during the discussion phase of the program.

EQUIPMENT: There is an embedded LCD projector and DVD player. I have 
already set up my laptop to take WiFi in the room if you want to 
project for the Web. Hank Allen (253-3131) is the IT person at the 
Jones. He urges anyone who hasn't used the room to make an 
appointment to check it out first. I spent an hour with him this week 
and he's very helpful.

SET UP: I need some folks to come by 4:30 to help with some tables/chairs.
