Hi all, I'm pleased to tell you that Rick Feldman, who many may know as a mayoral candidate in Northampton last year and a long-term business, economic development and non-profit strategist, was unanimously elected to the Hidden-Tech board on Monday night. Rick is a super guy whose bringing lots of savvy to Hidden-Tech and we're all delighted to have him. Here's how he describes himself: Rick Feldman: currently a business development consultant (business plans, business and organization transitions, business growth and change strategies) with strong focus on IT/MIS related businesses, and also including not-for-profit organization planning and change, as well as any small-medium business management consulting. President of Northampton Chamber of Commerce, Treasurer of Northampton Center for the Arts, Board member of E2M, Board member of Rotary, Trusteee of the Plan for Progress, Core Team member (working on organization and curriculum) of Leadership Hampshire County, and new to the Board of Hidden-Tech. Background includes owning and development two IT and software companies; University administration; economic development analyst and consultant with international customer base; founded the Western Mass. Software Association (WMSA) which morphed to the RTC etc. Founded Interactive Communities Network (INCOMMN), one of the very first portals and internet-based communities). Published in various journals: economics, planning and development, public policy, quantitative analysis techniques.
