Just to join what's probably a chorus (I'm just competing to be first!)

Crocker Communications is the ISP of choice if you live somewhere you can
get their services (there are still places in the area you can't get
anything but cable... if that's available).

Hi - 

OK, getting settled in after just moving into the area, and need
suggestions/opinions on the best bet for an ISP. We don't watch TV, so
have no need for cable.
